Hi,
I have sent my application in June 2012. However, I have received a letter in April 2013 stating that my DD is expired. In that letter, my Ref. Individuelle and Dossier No. both were written.
Later I have sent my credit card details and two days ago, I received a message from my bank that Government Du Quebec has charged me 1070 CAD.
Can you please help me to know status of my application and what will be next communication I will be expecting from Govt. of Quebec ?
Thanks.
u got file number, just wait for interview or waiver, this will need 9 months - 3 years depending on country u apply from ..

My work experience is now more than it was when I first applied, so I want to send new work certificates to get more points. The form A-0520-MA ("Change to the Application for a selection certificate") doesn't say anything specific about this type of update. Do you think I should anything except for actual work certificate?
i dont think there is a need for that .. they will always depend on the info you stated first ..

Hi guys!
I am very new in this forum. Just share my details. I started processing my application from last year 2012. Three times my file was returned and 4th time it was ok at Biq Hongkong by last November. But they transferred the file to Montreal and in the meantime my draft expired. But when I emailed to Montreal, they replied your file is undergoing process, It was during January this year. On April they send me the draft alongwith the file number and asked to send a renewed draft. Accordingly i send and received my receipt on May.
I read the Quebec immigration website and so far I understand those who got the file number will be treated under old rule because as is my case, they started to process my file and as a result they encased my draft. MOREOVER! the clarification is already in the website and they replaced their previous word 'old applications..............'
I might be wrong! Appreciate comments!
Hey!
Welcome to the forums!
Do you know why your file was returned 3 times before?
I can't find this updated information on their website, can you please point to it?

I don't think that's true, they always say if there is any change – send us an update. Even the form itself says this as an example:
Submission of a new item in support of your application or that of your spouse (education, work experience, language knowledge, etc.)
So, I have new work experience, or maybe I have new education level or language knowledge. This can affect my application, or in other words – my adaptability and employability in Quebec.

Just wondering if any other documents should be submitted along with job certificates. I guess not. I'll just send them as is ;-) Thanks!
I am wondering one thing that Quebec immigration guys haven't updated their website yet ! with the new rules nor with the AOT 2013 and the cap of application LOL i think so they sleep while taking our applications

Maybe it's a tactic of theirs so that people who want to submit under the new rules will be delayed in sending in their applications because they'll have to wait for the new rules to come out first. This would equate to less applications, less work for them, and they can have the time to work on the current files they have.

Its depend on your AOT. If it is priority AOT then you can expect soon, or it takes more than a year for interview.

The wait.......... :-X :'( :-\
is killing!!! Aaaaaaagh!! I think my computer is going to go into a coma now, I've been hitting F5 on Quebec's website since last night!
C'mon- Le gouvernement du Quebec!! Be sympathetic to our time and effort.
Looks like they have updated the preliminary evaluation screens.. the same can be checked at
http://www.form.services.micc.gouv.qc.ca/epi/controler.jsp?languageCode=en
In fact they have changed only the language requirements alone in this evaluation, all others remain the same.. But not sure about the AOT points though
Indeed, the assessment form shows more detailed markings for french and english proficiency. In fact, I also see that the area of training has been further catagorized into various levels of diplomas, like 1 year, 2 year & 3 years. The areas of training, however, look the same. Let's stick around and see what the final points grid looks like. Till then, most of us " do not meet the selection criteria". Lol! ;D

Folks,
I applied in Nov'2011 without any AOT, now it appears that I may suit 0213. Can I update my application now? Please advise.
grimreaper,
My situation is like you with the same AOT and till now I have not updated that, because my consultant said me that the VISA office will fill up that thing according to my job description and I am working as Information Technology (IT) Manager in a local company in my country. So keep patience.
