I just received an email on Friday from CIC at the Case Processing Pilot in Ottawa, indicating they have made a decision on my application for Permanent Residence and I had to pay the Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF). I paid and sent them a copy of my receipt of payment as they requested and am now just waiting to hear back Should be within 60 days. Very excited here!

The timeline in my profile corresponds to the Federal application for Permanent Residence, not my application for the CSQ in Quebec. I originally applied for the CSQ in March 2010, then had my CSQ Interview in New York City in March 2012 and received my CSQ at that time.
I then proceeded to apply for Permanent Residence with CIC in April 2012, when they "received" my application in May 2012, and the process has gone on from there
Only the Federal application for PR (that technically took 10 months). I originally applied for the CSQ back in March 2010 - so in all, about 3 years. However, when I applied in March 2010, I was told Immigration Quebec was extremely busy, therefore it longer than normal (or so I've heard) for my CSQ process.
