Dear All,

Seems like everyone is tired of the wait :)

I have a confusion. While applying last year, me and my husband attached our ORIGINAL experience letters as a matter of requirement mentioned in the quebec immigration website. We even forgot to take a scan or copy of them before submitting.
Since last year we have been struggling in a number of places where these experience letters are required.
Is it actually a requirement to send original? Can we have them back after interview? or can we request Quebec ppl to provide us a copy of it? will it be a problem if at interview time we dont have a copy of the experience letters.

Guys please advise....

You dont have to send original experience letter. You just have to send Notarized copy of Experience letter and all supporting documents. Yes you will get your experience letter back during/after the interview.

Hello Maria ....
U made a mistake by not scanning all what u send from papers to the immigration office ....
The first rule is always keep a copy for everything u send because during interview they might ask u for a copy or any other additional papers ... anw now regarding ur original experiencr letters u can extract from the companies where u worked for another ones ... I also sent the original experience letters to the embassy ....
But don't expect Maria to take any documents back from the embassy .. because they won't give u anything .. not before the interview .. neither after ... or after u get ur visa ... all what u sent are now their properties .... even if u get refused they won't give u back anything ... u can check if u want but this is what I know regarding this specific condition .. gd luck ...
Peace.

Thanks thunderbird....seems like quite a big problem for us....we arent in same of country of gained experience anymore and getting original experience letters again would be a problem from 2-3 places....and biggest problem is what if they ask a copy of it...dont they have our original file at the time of interview...??

One more thing....can u all confirm the address for adding updates and letters to our file....is it the one given in AOR letter

Ministère de l’immigration et des Communautés Culturelles
Direction de l’Immigration économique – International
Service Amériques, Maghreb et Moyen-Orient
285, rue Notre-Dame Ouest, 4ième étage
Montréal (Québec) H2Y 1T8

Dear maria
all original papers you sent along with application will be with the officer at the time of the interview so do not worry you can explain to him that you need a photo copy of any paper you want
regards

Don't worry maria about that ... sure they won't give u back the original copies ... but at the same time they won't ask u to provide anything again during the interview as well ... so as long as they hve the original experience letters they won't ask you for anothers .. they might be interested in updates only ...

Yes I think this is the address ...

This is the address which I received in the email in which they requested the update:

Direction de l'immigration économique - International
Ministère de l'Immigration et des Communautés Culturelles
285, rue Notre-Dame Ouest, 4e étage
Montréal (Québec) H2Y 1T8
CANADA

It is the same one.

I sent the update via DHL and later on I found on DHL website that they received the shipment.

Good luck!

Victor

My dear brothers and sisters:

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

May all of us get the acceptance and move on with our lives... it is a tough experience, yes... but it will surely pay off at the end.

Keep up the spirit!

Victor
