Hello everyone,

I created this thread to share news, provide encouragement, and exchange updates about our cases.

"Good news" for those who applied in early or mid-2021: I know of an applicant who applied in February 2021 and received their PR in early November 2024. Also, another person who applied around June 2021 has already received their approval in December 2024.

As for my timeline, I applied in December 2021 and received my pre-arrival letter in August 2023. According to my GCMS notes, my application status was marked as "approved and archive ready" in September 2023. However, I haven’t received any further updates since then. Every time I call, they say it’s "in progress," and my MP informed me that the delay is due to the Quebec cap, even though it's marked as "approved" in the notes.

Please share your timelines and any updates you might have, including any news about others outside this forum who recently received their approval or got any updates.

May 2021 Applicant

Everything passed and waiting for decision since 2023 same thing for me whenever i asked MP its same because of Qc Cap.

August 2021 applicant

Everything’s passed to since a long time ago, I have finished everything and passed everything just waiting for my turn on the quota but weirdly didn’t receive pre arrival is this normal ?

i know a march 2021 applicant that received approval 3 months ago

If anyone here has any information about someone that received final decision from 2021 please share

Since you’ve already passed the processing time for Quebec, you should hopefully receive some news very soon. Did you follow up with IRCC recently or speak with your MP again to check for any updates?

I'm not sure why you didn't receive the pre-arrival letter, but I believe that shouldn't cause any issues with your case. Hopefully, things will progress smoothly for all of us soon!

Its 43 months for Quebec.
He still passed the processing time by a couple of days
I really really hope Here4help receives his final decision ASAP it would mean that files are moving
Here4help does it say approved on your gcms notes ?

I recently ordered GCMS notes after a long time and expect to receive them around January 10. In my previous GCMS notes, it was indicated that my application was marked as “ready for landing,” with all assessments marked as passed. However, upon reviewing my notes, I discovered that IRCC had issued eCoPR for our applications in December 2023, which was subsequently canceled. I was not informed of this development, as I did not receive Portal 1 or Portal 2. It was a bit confusing but my MP said its normal.

Umm that’s really odd but it’s a good sign I would contact MP again and send webforms weekly if I were you

How long did your first GCMS notes take?
I sent mine the 19th December

There is zero point in sending webforms weekly. People encourage people to waste resources and then complain about processing time. 43 months is an estimated average so +/- a few months is realistic.

You’re actually right weekly is a lot FOR SOMEONE THAT HASNT BEEN WAITING FOR 4 years he can do whatever the heck he wants it’s none of your business he paid for his PR services, if doing something with IRCC was wrong they would tell you immediately they don’t need you. My guy said send emails was ressource waisting lmao

It takes approx 30-35 days. Last one i got in exact 30 days.

First PR fees don’t actually cover the costs of applying. There is zero point sending constant webforms. The answers will not change and just takes up IRCC staff time when they could be doing other work like processing applications.

Same goes for GCMS notes. Yes they take around 30 days but also pointless to order frequently because it often shows the same thing and there are long periods where nothing happens. At the end of the year most PR programs have met their quotas and there is minimal processing and work during the holidays.

lol go apply for PR without paying and see what happens, spoiler you can’t cuz IT TAKES MONEY TO APPLY
The fees don’t cover the cost of applying nobody said that they cover the cost of PROCESSING

“ answering a quick email that takes me 1-2 min is the sole reason for a 43 months processing time too bad shouldn’t have asked about your application I would’ve finished it in a week if that was the case” Canuck

Asking about your application constantly helps and is usually better than nothing, that’s my opinion it may be wrong or right
