I made a FSW application to the Canadian Embassy in Paris 3 years ago. My application status is "in process" ever since. Last july, I had a new born baby and I asked for her to be added to my application. I had difficulty getting the birth certificate which resulted in delaying her addition. now she is 10 months old and not added yet to my application. I received a letter from the Canadian Embassy saying that if the baby exceeds 3 months of age and is not added, the main applicant can not add her to the application and has to re-apply! at this satge a reapplication is really very hard, so is there any other solution for me? seniors please help!
I've absolutely no clue on the subject, thus cannot be of any help. Check-it out with Leon & PMM, they might know something on it. My knowledge on the matter is limited, neither I've seen/heard of such a situation before, not could find anything related to it on the net.
As I understood, the age of the kid never mattered, only that we had to add him/her before Visa/s. But, that mail of your CHC negates that -& they ought to be correct.
I'd advise, write to your VO and seek their advice. I wish I could be of any further assistance to u... Regrets buddy.
I am in a bit of fix right now. I have sent my initial app to CIO on 10th april which rcvd by them on 16th... i mentioned my visa office as Islamabad since i am applying from pakistan and official immigration website showed islamad against pakistan. but now i have come to know that its been changed from islamabd to London for all applicants who have applied after 1st april and i went back into wensite and checked and actually when u clisk on islamabd against pakistan u come to lnow that u have to send complete application to London instead of Islamabd. what do u say?? will they reject my initial app and ask me to rsend or accept.... or should i send the modified form to them alongwith exp letter before they rejecdt?
Thank you so much qorax, i really apreciate your willingness to help. It seems my case is one of those rare cases, so please other seniors if you know/heard of/ read about any similar cases, let me know and I'll be really thankful for that..
All the best for everyone
