Its been 3.5 months since i have submitted passport the exact date it reached chc new delhi is february 12 and now its may 25.
I havew send a case specific enquiry on march 18 and i got a reply on march 29 saying that yes they have recieved passport.
After that they have not send any information so i mailed them again on May 20th no reply yet.
I have studied in canada for 2 years and i have visited Uk once which is just one month. Is it because of foriegn travel history that is causing delay in sending my passport back? I am getting vexed ,supressed ,depressed .
Please guide me what to do?
Your advice is greatly needed . All seniors Please suggest me ???

Pradeep, the security checks are usually the main reason for the delay. CSIC seks for information from external organisations as well and there might be a delay from that end which causes the delay. If anything negative would have been there, you would have got the news long time back...it is just the checks causing the delay and rest assured that once you get back your passport it will be stamped.
Besides, see it also this way. If the pps were asked/sent as part of a separate PPR -it'd mean that the bigger part of the Security Checks stands completed. So, the pps+Visas would return by around 30 days.
But, if the pps were asked/sent alongwith the meds [as CHC-ND is famed for]... it'd take a while -for the security clearance to come by. Usually the security checks take around 3 months. So, either way, one needs to wait that much to get the visas. 'Coz, our security clearance is a precursor to stamp the visa/s.
However, as u have already put-in over 3.5 months, your visa/s might just be around the corner. Give it a few more days & I believe, u'll have it in your hand, soon.
