Hi,

Can Saving Certificates and Prize Bonds (Issued By Government) can be shown as proof of fund ?

I am not sure, but as per my understanding saving certiicate and price bonds are subject to realisation only on its expiry (maturity) date, whereas a fixed deposit can be closed prematurely. Only thing the interest applicable will be changed.

Declare the principal amt invested or if close to maturity the amt along with interest gained and also convert the said figure to canadian dollar against the particular date rates.
