Goodone, Can you please clear one thing, If during this medical time frame deadline of Provisional nomination or IELTS expiration reached, will it harm the process? Like do I need to start it from scratch?

Hi Ayen, Feb 16 i will report to IOM. Sad to say i need to undergo 6 months treatment because one of my sputum is positive They give me a referal to pulmo(makati med Dr. Ocampo) And after my appoinment to Dr. Ocampo i bring my reseta or prescribe medicine to IOM that day. So now star my medication almost one week..
I share the same sentiments with all of you. I had my medical on February 26. And on Feb 28, St. Lukes called me and told me I had to do a sputum test. I was scheduled to do it on March 7th to 9th.
When I did my medical, honestly, I had a little cough. Am just wondering if did that affect my xray? I have never been coughing for a long time and this was the only time I did, very unfortunate it was timing the same time I did my medical.
I don't have any history of TB or any lung problems. I am so worried that St. Lukes might trip me and make me do any further tests besides sputum.

Hi Mrsoftheph! If your culture sputum result is negative you will undergo repeat xray. But if your sputum result is positive you undergo 6 months treatment.
I did an upfront medical examination today and I informed the doctor that my mother who lives with me had PTB in 2013. Would this be a cause for concern in my application? Will I have to go through a sputum test and the subsequent X-rays?
upfront meds (29th Nov 2017) , found some spots in chest xray
so ,sputum collection (4/5/6 Dec 2017)
was sent to a lung specialist (IOM panelist) after smear test was negative and he cleared me up too.
my meds were passed the very next day (29th Jan 2018)
culture was cleared too as never got any call from IOM
still had to appear for repeat xray on 1st March 2018 (IOM took xray from 3 diff angels this time)
not heard back from them since then so i reckon everything has been passed.
In 2012 i was in dubai, was excited about my first job, but unluckily they found a scar in my xray & further did CTscan & deported me back to india, I gone to 3-4 months medicine & cured myself, doctors also said i didnt had active TB, it was just a initial phase.
Now in 2018, I wish to apply for Canada PR but i am worried about the process, i checked the history of this forum,
Many got visas after the medical clearance ,
before applying for express entry, should i go for any medical test ?

I called them in Feb to ask the same, they said that it's the protocol they need to follow so I would need to appear for 2nd xray, which I did and since then no contact by iom Lahore so I am assuming everything has been cleared up now.

Guys I have a questin, what if I could not produce sputum sample for sputum-culture test during Medical examination, is there any other methods to collect that sputum sample from me?
My son who is 5years old will undergo a medical exam. I would just like to know does anybody here had any problem with there childs medical results? How will the doctor know if the child have problem with their lungs? I asked the clinic for appointment they told me that for my son they will conduct physical exam and urine test only.
