I am looking to immigrate to Canada in 2016 and have received a PT notification of interest from Ontario Province today. The application guide states that the candidate needs to have 1 year of full time experience from the date of PT notification of Interest for the last 5 years. I have 3.7 years of work experience from 2007-2011 and 5 months of experience from June 2015 to October 2015, taking the total full time experience to 4 years. Could you please advise if my work experience would be considered if I were to apply for a nominee application via express entry.
OINP is very strict on the work experience requirement even if you qualify for EE. 5 months isn't enough, it needs to be one year continuous work experience in the last five years, unless you did complete Jan-Dec 2011.
