I applied for prtd on May 9th through jalandhar vfs , I am Pr card holder from 2017 . I was so shocked looking at 1000 people in vfs office Jalandhar whom all were trying to go to Canada . I was stunned . Anyways it’s been 15 days no response to emails , phone calls etc . So I would suggest who wish to apply in future don’t do it in Punjab or Delhi vfs offices , if you really wanna travel then make sure you are ok with waiting for 1-2 months . And also I have to cancel my ticket which is in two days .

You should never purchase tickets before you have the PRTD. I'm sorry no one told you that before you had this unfortunate experience.
If you landed in 2017, isn't your PR card still valid? Or did you never receive it because you landed and then left?
I lost my Pr card in canada and I had to travel for some family event .
Yes I realized after the fact I should have bought one way ticket
I got my passport back on May 29th will be picking up tomorrow and also the blue dart services don’t deliver to your house I have to pick it up from their main branch so keep in mind when you pay vfs make sure they let you know that blue dart doesnt
