I understand that I need to submit it to the local VFS office but still what all homework can I do while I am in Canada so that I can submit the application on the first day of arrival in Bangalore without wasting a minute ?

Today I received my passport back with PRTD stamped. It was dispatched on Friday 08th jan....So in my case, processing took 4-5 days and passport returned on 8th day.. Grt relief as I dont need to change the travel plan...

Is there any date validity on PRTD, means one needs to enter Canada before a certain date as is there in COPR.
If yes then how much it is.

How long it took for your case to get the passport back?
I am planning to do the same, start working on PRTD documents as soon as I land in Toronto and planning to go to India for a two week vacation.

I haven't applied yet if i don't recieve my pr card before i travel to india, o might apply in Jan 2018. What abt you or any case you heard of related tp PRTD recently?
i applied for Prtd on nov 11th and still waiting ,i called customer service and they said max time is 25 days ,my return is dec 10th so hoping to get it before that, my buddy text me that my pr card arrived in canada but i cant get that courier since i dont even have my passport back from vfs so far

so get this, its very annoying , i called customer care for vfs chandigarh , and she said its gonna take minimum 25 days , it could take more if the case is complex, since in my case i submitted pay stubs , bank statements, COPR, ALL ALL OTHER required docs, and my return ticket is
