Yes, I have sent emails both to VFS and Abu Dhabi and both just sent their generic messages. I really cannot understand why they would need so much time for this but I (in my own opinion) had applied early so that I would have no trouble travelling during the summer but I had no idea it would take this long.

did u hav US visa? i hav US visa but i lost the passport..m thinking to withdraw my passport and apply for US replacemnt visa..as it really frustrated to wiait tat long am disappointed my PR card was still valid for 21 months since i applied m just stuck in pak as i lost my travel documents

Has anyone applied for PRTD from VFS -Islamabad? I applied mine on January 25, 2018 but yet to hear anything back. I was wondering how long does it take?

No update yet,
I talked to my MP in Scarborough he said it should not take more than 8 to 12 weeks, if it does than your case may be complicated. He said remind me at the end of this month I will try to contact immigration office. I hope PRTD come before that.

mine almost completed 18 weeks i hav send an email to the toronto MP i got no response ...
complicated case mean they may reject it?means i met the residency obligation but i submitted my application vid police report.
how you contact the MP please guide me m really worried n hopeless
