Hi, son's PR travel document approved and he is travelling soon to Canada. Because he was minor when removed from Canada earlier, his travel is now approved as the first available opportunity to return. Can he apply for a PR card renewal immediately after landing? Or does he have to stay for 2 full years there and then apply? We had engaged a lawyer for his PRTD on H&C grounds. Do we need a lawyer for renewal of PR card? What are the chances that the card renewal is approved without hassle for him.
