PRTD Application. eCOPR traveling. Please Need Help.

I received my eCOPR on June 23, 2022. Submitted my photo for my PR Card. It's been over 5 months now, and the photo is still in review with IRCC.

I've to leave Canada to attend my sister's wedding and I'm leaving in a week. I'm trying to figure out how I can apply for a PRTD. The CIC website says that I can apply it online, but when I log in to the PR Portal, the PR Card/PR Travel document section is grayed out.

Anyone have similar experience?

You cannot apply for the PRTD until you are outside of Canada. It's not possible to apply in advance of leaving Canada. I would recommend you read through the posts in this section of the forum. This is where you'll find most of the posts regarding PRTDs.

I can only apply online. If I fly back and find out that I can't apply it online because the tap is greyed out, then I'm stuck there.

Hi, can we re enter canada using land border with eCopr and valid passport ?
I am in canada right and have work permit and TRV. Have to travel to USA for 2 weeks and I won’t be able to get PR card in time.
Please share your thoughts.

There's a disclaimer (in yellow background) that you need to agree with. Otherwise, the button remains greyed out.

Hi, I am in a similar position, received ecopr on Jan 13 2023, but need to travel soon. PRTD portal is greyed out and I don't see any ways to apply online. Any advice is much appreciated, thank you.

You can't apply until you are abroad.

My family had to travel for the same reason and even they are unable to apply for PRTD from home country. So i guess even I wont be able to apply after travelling! we are not sure why the portal is greyed out, for the context: We have just received ecopr and waiting for our first PR card.

Sorry, can't tell you - very hard to diagnose what problems arise with online apps.

Hi, I am also in similar situation. Received my COPR, i confirmed that i am in Canada. PRTD tab is greyed out, now how can we get it enabled?

I would assume that you also need to submit your passport to a visa office so that you get your PRTD. That bit cannot be done without being outside Canada.
