I have an issue with proving my work experience, particularly working hours. I'm a public school teacher, and I work 24 hours per week [and that's what my contract with the government says]. As far as we know, 1 year of experience for IRCC is working 30hrs per week for the whole year. My issue is that I work almost 30hrs since I prepare lessons and I correct exam papers at home since I don't have an office at the school. When I created my profile, I mentioned that I work 24hrs per week which makes me stuck with 447 even though I have over 3 years of experience. How can I prove the 'home working hours' without being considered a fraud?
Whatever is in your contract is what you should put. The "extra" working hours are not considered valid. If you have 3 years of work experience in this job (24 hours per week) than the total should be over 1-year full time.
What will your employer write on your reference letter to IRCC? Whatever will be on your reference letter, put that. IRCC doesn't look at your employment contract, they only look at the letter from your employer which should state the hours worked and duration. Please see here for information about the employment reference letter.
