I am an iOS Developer having 1 year experience (45hrs per week, 2340hrs per year). I want to apply for Canadian Express Entry. In Canada a full time one year is (30hrs per week or 1560hrs per year) but i have (2340hrs per year) experience. With respect to this calculation, the only one thing I want to know is that whether my 2340hrs work experience of one year is equal to Canadian 1.5 year or it will be equivalent to only 1 year experience?

Canadian full time one year (30hrs/week)= 1560hrs / year
My full time one year (45hrs/week)= 2340hrs / year

My work experience equivalent to Canadian = 2340/1560 = 1.5 year

For Express Entry, whether my work experience is 1 year or 1.5 year?
Please help me to figure out this problem.

Sorry but it'll be counted only as 1 year of work experience.

Two things to mention:

1 - This is one year of work experience.
2 - You cannot count more than 30 hours per week - right now you're counting 45 hrs/week which is incorrect.

I am dying to go Canada . These 2 to 3 yrs of experience to fulfil minimum express entry points requirements for Ontairio PNP is killing me badly...

Why don't you try FSW EE with one year of work experience.

Why don't you try FSW EE with one year of work experience.

For FSW, minimum 67 points are required but my score is only 64 points. That's why i can't try for that.
