Protected Person Work Permit Validity

Hi,

I need info about Protected Person Work Permit Validity.
I want to renew my work permit, (I am protected person)

How long it will be valid if my Passport is still valid for 8 years. (passport is still with CBSA)
I want use passport details as ID.

It does seem like your protected status is being contested so there is likely to be a shorter timeframe on your work permit. An 8 year work permit is not a normal time frame. You would likely be looking at between 1-2 years.
