Same situation with me. I applied in Nov 2020 only got one letter from Mississauga processing centre ( Not AOR) which verify my application is in the process to be open.
I have my family in back home.
Still waiting.

Yes my application is in process.
I passed eligibility medical and medical updated. and received pre arrival letter yesterday.
Also my dependents in back home application being forward to London office.
I have a question does pre arrival also means that my background check is completed because it still shows background is in process

Almost 5-6 month.
They start processing on my application yet.

Hi ,
I applied for PR under protected person on April 2018. As of November 2019. I have not received any correspondence or email. I made numerous phone calls and send multiple webforms. I contacted MP and all I am being told is that because of covid my file is stuck in background check. I hired a lawyer who just took my money and never did anything. Everyone is telling me that nothing can be done. I just have to wait. I applied for travel last year in October. I put urgent request. I have received Nothing to date. Any suggestions on what can be done. Thank you all
