Proof of parental relationship to your child or grandchild for visa extension

Hi All,

Could you please help me what proof can be given for the proof of relationship to parent (Can passport will be valid since it is having names). As I don't have birth certificate or we can get an affidavit. Please confirm.

Then get your birth certificate. Passport does not show proof of relationship - Why? Two totally unrelated persons might have same last/given names!

How is it possible that you don''t have a birth certificate. when it comes to proving relationship, Canada has the most stringent rules when it comes to proving relationships. So you need it, have to find it.. anyone can get an affidavit so try really hard to get your birth certificate. Dont risk it.. And when it comes to children immigration is very thorough.. ;D Another way would be DNA test..... thats all i can think off
