My application was recieved by CIC on 12 June 2013. My bank statement was showing the required amount as proof of funds. My question is do I need to maintain the same balance in my account untill the whole process is done?
Thanks in advance
you will be asked at a later stage to update them with your PoF status, the ideal situation - if you can keep the funds till you get the visa. If this is not possible - at least you should have the funds available when they ask you again.
I am in process of submitting my documents under FSW category. I am currently in process of arranging POF required for a family of 2 - CAN$ 13900 approx.
I want to ask if the statement of the Provident Fund (PF) deducted every month from my salary enough? Also can I show bank statements of my wife bank balance as POF in addition to mine??
Kindly help as I am falling short of the required amount and my PF statements and my wife's bank balance would help me.
I applying from Syria, I am preparing the application' documents. Regarding the proof of fund POF in this stage, I have been informed that an valuation certificate or report of an estate maybe enough, given that I can provide much more than the required fund. However, the question is: is such report acceptable for the immigration office from Syria, a country with war in many parts of it? is a bank statement even acceptable?
I am sure some of you seniors will have the answer to my question.
Does an applicant under PNP who is working in Canada with a Post Grad work permit need to show proof of fund in the application to CIC? Proof of fund is one of the requirements, but I am just wondering why someone who has a white collar job in Canada still have to be subject to this requirement.

I am applying under FSWC, though I guess I am not eligible, UNLESS same instructions of CEC can be applied for FSWC that are:
If you have qualifying Canadian work experience at Skill Type 0 or Skill Level A of NOC, your test results must match the CLB/NCLC below (see chart):
o 7 or higher for each of the language abilities, or
o 6 for any one of the language abilities, 7 or higher for any other two of those abilities and 8 or higher for the remaining ability,
Please tell me if there is a hope by compensate on low level by other high one.
I am landing in Canada in August. We are a family of three so I will carry 8K CAD in cash and rest as bank statement (I know it is unadvisable but I have my reasons). The question is shall I declare that I am bringing more than 10,000 CAD or not because technically, I'd have less than 10K with me.
Secondly, my wife will join me later after month or two. If she is carrying less thank 10K CAD also, does we have to declare/mention it somewhere ?
