is any of the steps below necessary ? Especially for the day I print bank statements
1.Which website to use to convert $12300 to local currency ?
2. write LOE telling i took conversion from this website.
3.attach a screen shot from the website along with the same pdf for proof of funds
Can anyone with previous experience tell me what needs to be done.
I have enough funds.
The only issue is going to be I am gonna say 1 CAD = X Local where CIC gonna say no 1 CAD = Y Local. How to avoid that ?
Re: Proof of Funds vs Currency Fluctuation until submission of ITA
1 - Bank of Canada.
2 - Sure.
3 - Sure.

Hi,
The best way to deal with this challenge is to give yourself some breathing space, have at least 300-500CAD more than the minimum requirement.
Otherwise:
1) Use popular ones like http://www.xe.com/currencyconverter/
2 and 3) You can, but there really is no need IMO.
Regards

Okay I also feel 2 & 3 no need. Just wondering what other guys have done in the past.
Don't put the exact number. Unless something major happens like a currency crash, the variation won't affect you a lot. Just put extra!

I am planning to put $200 extra. If the day I print my bank statements,Trump drops something somewhere then I am doomed.
Hahahaha that's what I was saying. Unless some nuclear war happens or something you should be safe with a few extra hundred dollars. Fingers crossed!

Lol, with Trump anything is possible, so act quick!!!
Guys,
do we have to show exact same amount what we filled in the express entry profile? Can it be more or less, like if filled 15k, and showing 14.5k or 16k?

That's fine as long as you meet the required funds.
