Proof of Funds,Maintained Statement required? bank certificate OR statement btr?

Hi,

I do not have a maintained bank AC/Statement, Can I deposit the Funds once in my bank account ,
have any of the below from bank and send as Proof of funds for my FSWP application?

1- Current bank certification letter OR
2- Fixed or time deposit statements.

Which of the above suits in my case?
and for how long I need to keep the designated Funds amount in my bank account after sending the Certificate/Statement to CIC?

Please describe the difference between "Current bank certification letter" and "Fixed or time deposit statements".
