Hi! My wife is looking at options for two/three-year diplomas in Toronto (I'd request an OWP) but after reading
IRCC's page about proof of funds for study permits I still don't understand if they require cost of living + tuition fees
for all years of study or only for the first year.
To get a study permit for a three-year program, should we show funds for:
- 1 year of tuition fee + 1 year of cost of living?
- 3 years of tuition fees + 3 years of cost of living?
- or 3 years of tuition fees + 1 year of cost of living?
We'd have funds for 2 years of tuition fees + 2 years of cost of living but we're considering three-year programs as well, hence this question.

But more is of course better.
