Is it okay if the required funds are split between two different bank accounts of mine and one of them is only 3 months old? Also, some of the funds are locked in fixed deposits. Will CIC accept this as long as all of it is in my name? If I decide to move funds from one account to another so it becomes easier to show a bank statement from just one account, will CIC ask for reason/proof for this sudden, unexplained credit?

Thanks! Is there a link to official CIC guidelines on submitting PoF and what they are expecting? I was planning to sell my car to show liquid cash, but if they accept all kinds of investments, for eg. Public Provident Funds (PPF) etc. apart from fixed or recurring deposits, then it will save me a whole lot of trouble.
