Proof of Funds for Express Entry with No job offer

Hello,

I about to submit my application for express entry without a 1 year job offer. Do I need to show proof of funds if applying under Canadia Experience Class- Express Entry?

The following site says no:
"Note: You do not have to meet the funds requirement if you were invited to apply under the Canadian Experience Class."

But I wanted to confirm this with anyone that may have had prior experience with this.
