Proof of Fund?

For proof of fund, my wife is going to take a personal loan. She is going to gift me the loan amount. is that a good idea. is there anywhere, we will be asked to show spouse's bank statement or debt in her name?

Bad idea! You can't show loan amount as proof of fund, no matter if it's on your wife's name or yours.
