As I have Post Graduate Work Permit (PGWP) (recently completed 2 years masters) here in Canada but till date I am not working, so I don't have any income. I am planning to apply for PR based on my previous work experience back home. So do I need to show any proof of fund when I apply?

If you don't have 1 year work experience in Canada, then you will not come under CEC category. For all other categories, without a valid job offer, proof of funds is a mandatory document.

Hi, guys I have a question, I understand that I need to show bank statement of balance as well as transactions of 6 months period as a proof of fund. Does this need to be from salary or it can be like family support ( parents providing financial support so that I can deposit 1500$-2000$ every months to have average balance of 12500$
He is working right now in Canada, no need of job offer, right? Because he is already working, i have the letter of his employer with the salary amount.

Working in Canada is irrelevant, either he needs to be a CEC applicant or have a valid job offer in order to be exempt of having to provide proof of funds.
I am in US and my father is going to provide me gift deed from India to my Indian bank account. So is it compulsory for me to be in India to prepare the gift deed(for signing the gift deed)? Or is it ok to that he transfers money to my account and prepares gift deed with only his signature?
I'm sorry i am still confused. He has a letter from his employer indicating his salary, hours that he works (all info that CIC asks), he still needs a job offer. What is the difference?
