Proof of fund-Gift deed, Affidavit and Letter of Explanation

Hi there,

I am currently working on my POF. I got money from my parents and I know I need to draft a gift deed, an affidavit and a letter of explanation to prove that the money is a gift to me. My question here is, I know I have to get gift deed and affidavit notarized, what about letter of explanation? Any help would be appreciated!!

Hi,

According to the IRCC criteria, funds cannot be borrowed. I am not sure if the funds taken from parents in the form of a gift will be construed as a gift or borrowed money.

Pls. take a second opinion in this regard. Hope it helps.
