Hello everyone.

Does anyone know of the processing times for the FSW for those persons who applied before February 2008?
The new rules and regulations that apply to applications after Feb 2008 it seems were meant to reduce the backlog amongst other things. That should mean a reduction in time for processing for those who applied before Feb 2008. It has been 2 years since i applied to the Canadian Visa Office in Pretoria.

Another point i'd like to ask is about the CAIPS Notes that i've heard of. I'm advised that you can order these and these relate to notes made by the particular visa where you submitted your application. Is it worth ordering these notes and do they really serve any useful purpose to the applicant?

Thank guys and dolls.

in my opinion, the post 27 february 2008 changes will result in a slowing down of old cases being processed as they have created two queues, with the new queue being given priority, but CIC have made no pledges on how they will manage the old queue applicants like you and me other than to say that all of us will be processed

I know very little about CAIPS but there are many posts on this forum about how useful or not they can be, but from what I gather there's nothing there until very late in the process and is only useful if you get called for interview or if your application is denied

Hey FlameLily,

You have got so impatient for waiting for 2 years only, mine is 4 years at the same CIC. Now you can think how more wait you will have to do. Did you get a letter recently asking for your intent to immigrate? Good luck.

HI Flamelily and Bozica,

Have you got an update with regards to your applications?
