Processing Timelines in Buffalo

Hello All

I wanted to check if anyone is having an idea on the current processing time in Buffalo office

I recd an AOR from buffalo on Sep21st but application status has not changed from pending review since then

any pointers in this regard will be of great help..

Unfortunately, Buffalo seems to be too slow in processing the applications, many people are waiting to see the word "In process" since Nov/Dec 2008

I have no idea when are they going to wake up at that dead visa office !!

I heard New Delhi is much faster..

Yes, they are extremely faster than Buffalo, we (Buffalo applicants) are waiting to see the word "in process" after 12 months from the date of receipt, and they are getting their visas within 5 and 6 months !

I think they have started accepting applications in Ontario, from people applying from within Canada. You have the choice to send your complete package to either of the 2 places...
I guess that might speed things up...

Hi prcanada,

It does not add any value to the process because they send the applications to Buffalo as soon as they receive them, they only act like an intermediary for delivery not more, so i think it is better to send the application directly to Buffalo instead of extending the delivery time.
