I don't think you need all those. When I travelled out I didnt need to even show my work permit when I was coming back in. But for rest of mind you can hold on to a letter from ur employer. But I can guarantee u wont need it.

Its better to have both. On your lucky day they might not ask you for anything but on a bad day they will ask you 1000 questions. so its better to prepare for the worst..

Yes, I did two days back. Although I did not receive any UCI or file number yet, when I tracked it, it has been delivered. I sent them an email to cancel and send my passport back along with my name, tracking number and date of birth. Should I be doing something else?

I think u will have to wait for some response. I know how fustrating this can be. I am sure others will have other suggestions

Visa Stamped on Nov 13th. I will receive it today.

Hi Guys,

I just applied my visa on OCT 31st. They recieved my application on Nov-5th. I sent an E-mail enquiring about my status. But i got automated reply saying "

Due to the high volume of correspondence our office receives, we are not able to answer questions for which an answer is readily available on our website.

Furthermore, our office will not respond to status enquiry for applications that remain within our standard processing times.

Thank you for your understanding.


Did any one applied Visa on the same day or atleast on the same week. please do reply.
