it came from:

Hi All,

Wanted to give an update on my TRV, I got my visa yesterday and my file was received by CPP -Ottawa on 20 th march 2013.
Last few days i have been really worried abt my passport but this forum was a relief.

Hope every one gets their soon.

This forum has come in as a relief for me. I was surprised that the website said that applications have been processed as of 31st March on 24th April and I still hadn't received mine. My application was received by the CPP office on 28th March. Looks like I need to wait another couple of weeks before I receive my passport. I have planned my India trip for the 8th of June and hope that the passport comes back at least by mid May based on what I see here.

Yes. From what it seems, the application can take up to 50 days even though the online processing times is way lower.

I think you will be fine for your June 8th flight.

They mailed me telling they have send my passports through regular mail on 30th April. My application submission was March 8th.
