I am travelling to India for medical reasons for my wife but have an expired PR card.
Would I be able to get my PRTD in time to return in 3 weeks .
Plesse advice .
 
Can anybody let me know if we can apply 1 week before travelling to india ? I have been waiting for my PR card over 2 months , i postponed my travel because of this ? Can anyone let me know how much time is it taking for you to get PRTD in india ? VFS i believe are still not accepting any applications at i think it is still online ? Please advise

You can not apply for PRTD until you are in India. Within Canadä you can not apply as it needs stamp on passport that you are out of Canada

You can't apply for the PRTD until you are outside of Canada. So no, you cannot apply 1 week before travelling to India.
 
How many days is the wait time for PRTD in India?
