In summary, the following are the steps :
1. You will have to fill IMM 5424E and send a scanned copy along with all the required documents to following email address : IRCC.COVIDPRTD-TVRPCOVID.IRCC@cic.gc.ca

2. IRCC will acknowledge and process the application. Once the application is finalized they will send passport request letter on email.

3. After receiving the passport request letter contact India VAC i.e. VFS on following email address : PassportSubmission@vfshelpline.com. You would need to share the details in the email. Proforma is given here : https://assets.ctfassets.net/xxg4p8...84483014a37ecb8055/Proforma-2_Way_Courier.pdf

4. VFS will coordinate with IRCC office for passport receiving, stamping and dispatch. Usually they are using BlueDart courier.

I have sent my passport for PRTD stamping to New Delhi. I received the passport request on 28th July and sent the passport on 29th July. Received e-mail from VFS with the tracking Id saying its on the way to IRCC, New Delhi. Where do i use this tracking Id and could someone suggest how long will it take for me to receive the stamped passport? Thanks in advance.

If you receive AWB # try it on Blue dart website to track, if the tracking is from VFS use this website https://www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/India and select application tracking

What were your timeline of sending the passport for PRTD stamping and receiving the above mentioned msg?

How much time does it take for PRTD approval?. I have emailed all tge required documents on 20th July. Still there is no update.
