I think the processing time is 36 working days and plus 10 days for postal delivery
I have called CPC many times and i get a diffrent answer every time, first they said that 36 days are for processing and the postal time is not included then they said that postal time is included and today they said that it is 36 working days. May be they have no idea what the actual time is.
I called CPC today and they informed me that my PR Card has been mailed at my address on 16th of November. That is exactly 30 days after i landed (i.e OCT 18 2009).
I think it should reach my place at start of next week.
It appears to sometimes be slow and sometimes be fast. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it, so I guess we are all just stuck with waiting. Fortunately you can do everything with your COPR that you can do with your PR card, except commercial international travel.

it says now 37 days for PR card to be sent. any updates? does it actually come earlier that the posted timeline?
Hehehe, it's the name of the game. I am waiting for the PR card now so I can go back and visit family and friends back where I came from (I won't say "home," as Canada is home now) I haven't seen in a long time.
When I get that I'll just start waiting for the date when I can apply for citizenship, then wait for the day of my test, etc., etc., etc. ...
Fortunately only the wait for the PR is nerve-wracking! After that you know what's going to happen, you just don't know the exact date. At least we are learning the virtue of patience; I used to be a pretty impatient, but this process certainly taught me to change.
