Processing time from "Passport Request Letter"

Hello. Every day I look at flights and they get more and more expensive. It would help me greatly to hear some personal experiences of processing times. Today I received a letter informing me of pre-arrival services. I'd assume the next information would be a passport request letter.

If anyone can share their personal experiences of how long it took to receive the "passport request" information after the "pre-arrival services" info, and also how long it takes once you actually send your passport to them.

Any of your personal experiences can help to put my mind at ease as I sit idly and wait and wait and wait...

mine was the next business day we got ppr... my husband submitted his passport on march 9th and received it back 20 days later... some people get the prearrival services and wait for MONTHS... no one can say how long it will take... it varies from app to app, office to office... some people have receveid pre arrival and then were requested to go for an interview and are still waiting.. there is no true answer here. best of luck
