Processing time for spousal visa - Sri Lanka

yea im trying to get a letter from them. so i hope by the weekend i will send the letter n docs so that my husband can drop it off on monday. i really dont want to waste any more time. i hope they process the visa soon.

Sure, you will. I even know some ppl who sponserd thir partner without income. So dont worry. I think you just need good explanation for the late sponsering.

In and out of the hospital watnxt. Visiting hours finish at 9. I was also at work today. My father is very very ill. He's admitted at a hospital in scarborough. Its quiet a journey from the west end. But I want him to eat and recover. He's not doing that too well. I'm tired and felt truly and astonishingly alone as I sat there in his room. Angry and sad. Its hard. This life is cruel and hard. Honestly my husbands pr is not the biggest priority. My father's health is at the moment.. God only gives us what we can handle, good or bad.. So I will be fine.

Mel, take ur time. i dont want to bother u about this. its understandable. by the way guys, i 4got to mention that my husband file number changed from BXXXXXXX to FXXXXXXX, so im guessing that they change our file number once they start processing the PR application??

im still struggling with the immigration letter, and i dont know whether i should attach a copy of my pay slip or not? cos some ppl r telling me not to.. and some are telling me not too.. kind of confused

Mel, I hope your father get well soon. Just pray god and we will do it for you as well. I know how u feel. I went though this when I was 13. Make sure you take care of your health. Eat on time and sleep enough.

I attached pay slip and employment letters when i applied. I am not sure is it good or not. I just did it.

i'm back!! well for now at least.. thank you for the well wishes and all the prayers looks like we are getting some progress now arent we.. last time around with gayan, after he was approached by the VO for more info, he got the visa. SO they just need the missing pieces to complete the puzzle.. have faith everyone!!!!

BTW, weather is so blah today!!!!
