Did you tell them that you need to take week off when your man gets here? I did that. I told them I will take week off and then for few weeks i will leave early. They said they were fine with it. But i didnt move since this company matched the salary.

watnext- i actually checked the ecas on Saturday after my husband told me to take a peek at it. thank god he told me or i wouldn't have checked it at all. it says the PR application started on may19 but it doesn't state the date of when they updated it on the website. so im confused there too. And yes my husband is from Colombo.

Mel- dont think too much, ur hubby will come here soon. My husband lived abroad as well ( UK), i dont think there will be a problem in the process since ur husband stayed in UAE. dont worry! everything happens for a reason, and its for the good.

BE positive guys!!! i have my fingers crossed. Please pray for me

Shiff thank you for the kind words! You should also sign up for Matthews Ecas Tracker. Every time there is a change on your Ecas, you are sent an alert via email. A lotta ppl use it and it's totally safe. That way, you can keep track of when they update your status. Plus you don't have to check it all the time..

I dont use it since I dont like to share my personal info with unknown web. I thought u always check on eCas and not depending on tracker.

no no.. I use the tracker. I find that it's helpful. and there isn't a whole lot that's on their in terms of info. plus you know what, with just an IP address any hacker can access all our info right.. The tracker is used by many many ppl..

I also do a manual check, but prefer the tracker because I know when it gets updated instead of me forgetting to check and then missing it. for example, i have had 4 updates on Ecas. they are spread out between feb and last one is on the 14th. ANY change on the status shows up... For us, our medicals received line has gone missing a few times and every time it does, I get notified. I find it helpful.. Also it's a good way to keep record..

I check 3 or 4 times per day (at least). So I wouldnt miss out any update..lol
So you got some alert/update this month (14th)?
I dont see any update on mine last 6 months. Same old stuff.

Hi Shif,
Personaly, I dont like to share my immigration information with any unknow web. They store your info into their database. If someone hack their database then they can miss use ur info. This is something personal and you want to keep with you and your lawyer only.
It is totaly up to you. Dont forgot that, you are giving out ur date of birth, client id , last name , birth place. They can get your address and full name from eCase using above info. For example these are way enought to get visa card behafe of you.
