Yes Colombo told me to send them Notice of assesment, employment letter , paystubs and why a religous wedding didnt take place.

If you feel like your application is taking long send them an information request thats why they asked me for thede. Hopefully within this month my wife will get her visa.

My husband's application is being processed at Colombo VO. We received the pre-arrival services letter on April 21, 2018. Its been two weeks now, and no changes or further requests. Our account online still says "we are reviewing your eligibility." The background check process has not started.

I was reading the forum, I noticed that some people got their passport request within a few days to a week from receiving the pre-arrival services letter. Can anyone advise on how long it usually takes to get the passport request, after receiving the letter - specifically at Colombo office?

pre arrival service letter mean you passed eligibility so dont worry your copr and visa is on the way

The processing seems quicker, which I am grateful for. There is a medical emergency in my family, and knowing when my husband's application will be completed, will put our mind at ease. Especially because we are so close. I'm trying to work around it.
