Processing time for spousal visa - Sri Lanka

sorry for the late reply. long day today.
when we get resisted by the Foreign ministry we will get the visa soon? we married in SL but didn' registered by FMinistry.

I got a email from colombo office for an. To attended for an interview
And they mention to bring the passport too.
What is that mean to u and what qustions they may ask .......????

well we cant say that the visa will process soon .. getting it certified by the F Ministry adds value. like it carries more weight & strong evidence. since sri lankan government is officially verified the document & it makes them easy to login to the F ministry account & check it's genuine.

This is the point. You have an idea how is the sri lankan government offices work going on.i think if we registered by FM its easy and fast to verify with our document. Otherwise it will take months to verify one doc. .

yeh thats right .. like they don't have to think twice if a document is verified by the F. Ministry.. caz they scan the document and have it in their server .. you get a verified document by the ministry saying its verified.. and it has a QR code to scan.. i think all the embassies have this system to log and scan the documents & verify it on their own at any time .. its all online
