Hi, I am new to this forum. My husband is a Canadian citizen (by naturalization) and I am a SL citizen. I have applied for my PR by sending documents on January 2017. CIC processed my husband's sponsorship eligibility within a month and currently my application is in process. I have not done a medical prior to submitting the application and therefore CIC sent me a medical request on OCT 30th. In addition yesterday, they've sent me a mail to re-submit my police clearance, since the one I submitted with the application was expired on June 2017. Currently I'm in Canada with my husband.
I want to know following.
1. How long does SL Police takes to process a PC if I apply online
2. What documents will they ask next?
3. Will they require me to face an interview in SL?
Answers
1.14 days for police report
2.scan your nic front and back And your passport front page , old pcc
3.no interview
My personal opinion after submit you contact your local police station you or your relative because sl police now doing this process via online some time local police office didn’t check there email it’s happened to me that’s it I said
Hi maya I met yesterday girl at session she is doctor and she is still waiting for her visa all most 16 month finish but she got her re medical
Request and another guy got him visa within 10 month he fly this month 11th
Did u guys receive IRCC invitation letter to obtain pre-arrival services?

I didn’t get any pre arrival service letter
But I register myself and it’s finished today and I got certificate to. @yugan24@vmalkani I think you guys get your visa within month.

Hi Guys. Anyone knows if the Sri Lankan police clearance certificate which is to my knowledge given online, works well? Or the traditional way still works better? I applied according to the new system in March 25th 2017 and I got Police Certificate request Nov 03rd/2017 (yesterday)
If the online (new) system is "reliable" Its convenient to apply online no? Would save my need to go to Colombo Police HQ. And How about fingerprints? Are we still giving it "online"? It would be a great help If some one sheds lights on the new police clearance system.
