in gcms notes it says"We regret to inform you that we are unable to process your request for the following reason.( Means concent form)
I wonderring what is background check? Is it regarding eligibility or criminality or security check ? Which one ?
In my case i cannot link to gckey. But i check with cic through mp it says still doing spouses eligibility. I dont know where am i

Hello everyone,

how are you all, i just have one question, i just recently sponsoring my wife, how long will it take to get the acknowledgment letter from the CIC and they received the file on june 7th but now its more than one month, i was just worried and don't no when i am going get this letter or do i have to email them or something, because most of them told me they received the letter within 2 weeks, but it takes long for me, any suggestion, need some help?

did you check online status. usually it takes 2 weeks

no bro i mean i didn't even receive any response from cic, plus how do you check online status since i didn't received anything yet, and is there any other way to check online? thanks bro for the response.

How do you know they received your file on June 7th? Did they email you? didi U apply through a lawyer or by yourself? if you apply through a lawyer CIC response to him.

I know they received the file by the FedEx tracking, it says delivered and picked up by a person and I apply through a immigration lawyer, I will ask them but isn't it they send a email to us not to the lawyer right

unfortunately CIC send emails to the lawyer not to us.
