Processing time for spousal visa - Sri Lanka

HI,

I'm new to this forum. My visa application status shows as " in process " and details as per below,

1. We received your application for permanent residence on October, 2016.
2. We started processing your application on November, 2016.
3. We sent you correspondence on December, 2016. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.
4. Medical results have been received. (Updated on January, 2017)

Can some tell me whether i'm closer to get a passport request?

hmm. same like mine. still showing "in process" since december 2016,
1. received application December1, 2016
2.started processing December 29,2016
3.Medical results have been received

In February Colombo office ask to provide more documents and pay the Permanent resident fee.

After that there was no news.

Most of the people are getting PPR within 4-5 months after the medical. But in my case it almost closer to 7 months now.

My CIC's UCI number and Colombo Office's UCI number is different. is it possible? i"m confused.

Background check showing "your application is in progress. we will send u a message when we start ur background check...

How long will take to star background check?

1.After you handover the documents did you get a message like this? . This is what i received."We sent you correspondence on February..., 2017. 2. after sending the requested documents did you get the confirmation/status updates?

3.. how do you check the background status as you mention?

2. after sending the requested documents did you get the confirmation/status updates?

Nope... I didn't get any mail like this..
And also I didn't get any updates after handover the requested documents...


Two weeks before only I linked my application to gckey... (with the help of yoge)
Via gckey update only I got the background status

What Colombo uci number ? I didn't got any uci number from Colombo visa office.
How you got that pls explain

Nope... I didn't get any mail like this..
And also I didn't get any updates after handover the requested documents...
