Guys, if your processing time is not anywhere close to 15 months you should really not get stressed out and worry so much as the current processing time for Sri Lanka is 15 months and you are not the only one not getting the PPR. There are people here who sponsored their spouses more than 18-20 months ago and still have not heard back . Yes, some people are lucky to get PPR request really fast but if your processing time is within 15 months I really don't think you guys stressing out is going to make any difference but ruin your health. FYI, its been more than 18 months since I sponsored my husband and still nothing and I stopped stressing and worrying about it as its not going to make any difference. Also, there are others who are waiting for more than 20-24 months if that's makes you all feel better
Hi guys, my husband moved to a new address end of last year and we updated his address on file via case specific enquiry and he even received his interview letter to his current address. However, yesterday he received a call from the embassy and they asked him if he sent a letter informing them of change of address and my husband told him yes we sent an email via case specific enquiry to have the address updated and the embassy said he is supposed to send a written confirmation with his sign. This is so weird i though we can update the address via case specific enquiry. Anyway did this happen to anyone else where the embassy requested you to send written confirmation of your new address with your sign?
Happy New Year to all!
Hoping that next year we will get to ring up the new year with our significant other! This day maybe hard... Knowing we all are still waiting to hear some good news.. but let's celebrate with each other.. and count our blessings that we can go through this process with one another and hopefully get news very soon!
Happy new year to everyone on this forum.. hope the vo actually start working at a faster pace after the new year and we all get our visas sooner .. wish this new year brings good luck to all of us!!

I don't know exact reason why they are requesting an official statement from you but I know someone who had faced the same experience due to changes in address!! But they finally got their visa and settled in Canada! So don't worry they probably need your own statement to verify your address!! Don't think too much
