Has anyone ever thought of applying for tourist visa to bring your spouse to Canada for short visit? It seems few people actually had luck and got visitor visa for their spouses.

Hey never really thought of it... how long is that process and we can actually do it while the family class sponsor process is still goin on...

I think if we provide all the required docs, process is just few days. Some people take the risk of applying for it and actually got it. I was thinking of applying but I thought he would get the visa soon since its been 14 months but .

Really thats fast process... I am planning to go in dec. If nothing happens before that.. How abt u ru going anytime sooner?

Yes, we are going to Thailand and Bali in November.

Just now I was able to check the cic website no issues.. Plus I checked my link account so before it said medical passed but today it has been changed to not needed at this time.. So bascially cuz his medical expired yest. But being said that he didnt receive a request for remedical.. Anyone with similar exp. Plz let me know

Oh did u do mp inquirty for us they said security screening in process and not to do remedical until they request
