sorry guys, i checked from my UCI and it said in process
Now I just told my husband that some of the friends in forum has got DM, he checked thru his UCI, and the sponsorship application says DECISION MADE! but PR says IN PROCESS still!!!

But today the SPONSORSHIP is DECISION MADE and PR is IN PROCESS. Does this have a meaning?

What does sponsorship and PR? do u mean the new gc key as PR? and ecas as Sponsorship?

No Vijay, when you login through sponsor's UCI, you can see two application statuses, one is the sponsorship application status and the other one is the permanent residence application status. When you login through your UCI (primary applicant ) then you get only the permanent residence application status..

Heyy mine says the same thing when I use my uci number to log into cic it says sponsor application status decision made and thr permanent resident status is in process.. but what does that mean... all this time I never signed it that way so I dont noe if it was like that before too or just changed... it is good sign?

Hi Rainbow, it seems like most of the applicants have got this update today, I could read in the forum that most of the NDVO and LVO have got the same update today, So I'm confused whether it means PPR is close by or its just a common update by cic confused to the maxxx!!!

Hello guys,
I think most of you are confused here.

There are two stages:
Stage 1: Sponsor approval (decision is made for this within few weeks after the application is filed).

Stage 2: Permanent residence approval (no one know how long this process takes)

Stage 1 is usually completed and a decision is made within 2 weeks so if you see DECISION MADE under sponsor application which basically means that your sponsor application has been approved.

Stage 2: This is the most important stage. If you see DECISION MADE under this column then CONGRATS!!!!!! except a request for passport .
