Hello everyone,
The embassy has contacted us recently asking to submit an updated police clearance and relationship proof. We have gathered everything together for relationship and are waiting on the police clearance.
Would any of you know if it's ok to submit the relationship proof first and then submit the clearance letter when we receive it? Would that delay our processing?
my file was approved on sep 28th and i got the AOR on that date but still my file havent been transferred to sl visa office and my ecas show that we have received the application on july only and no information abot file transferred to sl. can anyone advise me on this
How much time have they given you to submit the documents? It would be better if you could submit it all together, however, if you can't, I would suggest writing them a letter explaining it to them. Hope this helps..

They may have received your file in Colombo, but they don't update Ecas too too regularly. So please don't get too nervous. Most likely the first update will be under your hubby's file number which will be issued by the Colombo office. If you can they, then you may get a better idea on Ecas status. Let us know the details of your situation and we will all do whatever we can to help u!

u have to file an appeal with one month period from the rejected date. I had file my appeal on March 31, 2011 and got the date for adr hearing on sept14, 2011. Now I won the appeal and my file re open in Sri Lanka sep 28,2011. How ever, they didnot send any letters to my husband. most of the people said it will take another 1 to 2 years, but i m not sure.
I hate my life. I got married in January 2009. I am waiting for more than 3 years.
My lawyer is Robert Blansky. He is the nice and good lawyer.
Please let me know how long does it take to finalize the case in sri lanka.
