Yes visa office working fast. People get medical requests , after medical received , within one week get passport request.visa issued in 2-3 days visa After passport received.

Wait till you get a letter from IRCC for medical. Is it 2020/21.

How long does it normally take for medical?

Bro did check the dead time( within how many months the documents should be submitted) if u submit the the documents after the dead time they will reject ur application as far I know.

I'm guessing everything slowed down after Covid hit in Colombo. (It was slow even before the covid, but even slower now)
I'm Waiting almost 3 months now after my file got transferred to Colombo VO
