Processing time for spousal visa - Sri Lanka

Hey Waitting,
I know someone had same issue as you. Their med expired and they didnt get call from embassy. They went and asked the embasy last week. Embassy asked them did you bring photos for redo-med. So I guess you better to go and ask them.
My med expires next month. If i dont get visa by next month then I will ask my wife to check with embassy as well.

I went to the MP today, advised me that if the application is in the final stage, they may waive it. That's what Julian Fantino's assistant told me today. My MP.

We will get quarter update next week. It looks like procing time is going to increase from 14 month

hey waiting, i applied mid september, n my hubby just got it. so just be patient, im sure ur next to issue the visa, idont think u need to re-do ur meds since uve come this far.

Colombo called my wife today and asked to submit supporting document to prove our relationship. We are going to submit them monday.

Waiting, a friend on mine applied in September as well, med expired. He is waiting for the embassy to call.

I found my online status was weird today, my wife name mention twise on there like below



Sponsored Person Sponsorship Application Status Permanent Residence Application Status

Wife name Decision Made Application Received
wife name In Process Application Received

In process it says that We started processing your application on October 25, 2010.

I see same thing. I guess it's system changes. PR app status remains same. So I don't see any positive sign. T7 what about urs?

Nope. I don't see anything positive results. Mine is not even in process. Sick and tired of this. I emailed them 3 times. They don't even bother to reply back.

When did you check eCas last time? Check it today. They just upgrade their System/Database. So it has different look and feel now. I still have "Application Received" under PR Status. So no changes for me.

Well I checked couple of hours ago. I just doubled checked it now too. It's the same template that I saw last year.

by the way guys, just to let u know, eCas is very late. i just recieved a email today that a decision has been made and i will get a call from the embassy.. My husband is already here lol
