Processing time for spousal visa - Sri Lanka

Well guys.....don't put yourselves down. There is no one to blame in our situation. People are just exaggerating abt the fact visas are being granted in 5/6 months. May have been true for the people who submitted application before August. I personally know people who applied before August and got visa in 4-6 months. I am currently with a big group that has not received visas in this forum not only this forum but also people outside.

So guys don't screw your minds under other's influence. On the other side, we are smart enough to know sponsorship process in Sri Lanka takes a quite bit of time. I say our people had created this exasperation for us.

Yes. They should atleast update us on the process. Reply to emails and keep us active. I totally understand how you feel Watnxt but just another few more weeks bro. We have waited mamy months, can we not wait another few more weeks? I am very confident in all of us here. Just hang on guys.

Yeah, have few weddings to attend. So weekend will fly very fast this weekend. I will be busy with answering ppl in each wedding as well.
What about u? I think you told me that you have some events this week. Didnt you?

Wow. That'll be fun. I had couple of events last week. I have to take my car to the shop tomorrow for maintenance and a BBQ party on Saturday. That's pretty much it.

Guys,
My wife name has been changed in eCAS. It used to have before marriage name. Which is her name and her dad name. I used to use her name in Name field when I log into eCAS behalf of her.
Now it has been changed to after marriage name. Which is her name with my first name (That is how we keep name after marriage). Did any one notice this? Now I have to use my name in Name filed when I log into eCAS behalf of her.

Visitor Visa. They have had his passport for 2 weeks now and no response..

i can't. i'm tired. it's been a long fight. i just want it to be over with. i don't even care anymore how long it takes. i stopped a while ago. i have no hope left. just that they will give it to us when they do and i cant do anything else about it.

they control our lives. i hope they are happy doing so.

Hey guys. I know this sponsorship has been affecting a lot of us. For the majority of us, it will take almost a year to get the visa. So guys, it's 10-12 months from the time we applied on a completed application kit. I applied in November, so I am pretty sure I will not get anything until early september or late october.

This may not sound that great but it's the reality. Got it from a reliable source.
